Maintec’s Product Development and Application development focuses on the programming and implementation of applications for firms ranging in size from small businesses to the Fortune 1000. This group also offers technical expertise in the implementation of mission-critical systems which require integrated software, hardware and firmware development.

Maintec’s Product Development and Application development group is currently developing custom distributed applications for our clients using a variety of development environments including: C, C++, J++, Visual Basic, Power Builder, Exchange, D/HTML, VRML, and other tools. Our application engineers are also developing mission critical applications which utilize SQL/Server 7.0, Oracle 8, and other relational, multidimensional and object based technologies. Maintec has developed a suite of design methodologies to ensure the creation of user-friendly products. Our extensive experience with object-oriented data modeling, performance optimization, and Intra/Internet design contributes to their success. The use of technologies such as MTS and DCOM+ allow us to create scalable solutions for the Windows NT/2000 Application Server platform. This group also works with our Product development services group to help vendors re-engineer their products for the ever-changing technical marketplace.
